Introducing the Nelson Enrichment Club:
A Social Model of Memory Care
Our mission at the Nelson Enrichment Club is to provide a caring and safe environment for individuals experiencing memory loss. Through engaging and enriching activities, we empower members to achieve their fullest potential, while providing a restorative break for their dedicated caregivers.
The Club will meet twice per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM to 2PM, at the Rockfish Presbyterian Church (5016 Rockfish Valley Hwy, in Nellysford, VA).
It will offer social and self-enrichment activities for individuals with memory loss, while also giving caregivers a restorative break. Activities will include:
Music & the arts
Brain games
Physical fitness
Pet therapy
Socialization activities
