is Going Strong!

Introducing the Nelson Enrichment Club:
A Social Model of Memory Care

Our mission at the Nelson Enrichment Club is to provide a caring and safe environment for individuals experiencing memory loss. Through engaging and enriching activities, we empower members to achieve their fullest potential, while providing a restorative break for their dedicated caregivers.

The Club meets twice per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM to 2PM, at the Rockfish Presbyterian Church (5016 Rockfish Valley Hwy, in Nellysford, VA). 

It offers social and self-enrichment activities for individuals with memory loss, while also giving caregivers a restorative break. Activities include:

  • Music & the arts

  • Brain games

  • Physical fitness

  • Pet therapy

  • Socialization activities

The Nelson Enrichment Club is offered in partnership with Here to Stay in Wintergreen, Blue Ridge Medical Center, and Rockfish Presbyterian Church.
